Logosys to update to new Blackmagic drivers and drop Windows 7 support

Dear Customers,

Blackmagic Design released the 11.5 version of DeckLink drivers in the beginning of 2020. This update includes significant internal changes to overall performance and the metadata processing pipeline. Our internal tests have shown that 11.5 is not always compatible with older driver versions. Therefore, we decided to postpone this update until the next official release and stay with 11.4 for now.

The next official release is planned for the end of June. It will require to update DeckLink drivers to the latest version (11.5.1 for today). Let me know if you'd like to give a try to the pre-release version with the updated BMD components by replying to this email or with a message to support@logosys.in

Please note that the 11.5.1 update doesn't support Windows 7. Although the Logosys itself still works on this OS, starting with this update, we will no longer provide support to BMD devices running on Windows 7.
